Our Dad wears fancy pants...

Because he can make a watermelon basket! Our kids were amazed!

I did plan a nice steak dinner for him, which he never gets since I've had a strong aversion to all things meat during this pregnancy, but he got home from work right before we got home from church and decided to cut his own watermelon and grill his own steak.

Even though Josh had to work today, he was able to run over for sacrament meeting so he could hear the kids sing and then go back to the hospital. The kids were really happy that he was there, even though James pretty much hates anytime the primary has to sing. I just keep thinking how much he is going to hate it when he is 11 and still has to go up.

Anyway, Josh making it over for sacrament meeting, and then making it home in time for dinner made it a pretty special day. And I hope Josh felt a little bit special, because he really is an awesome Dad and deserves to have some recognition for all his hard work.

In other news...I'm 30 weeks pregnant today

Josh told me I was huge, James said I was fat, and Macy called me a cow...OK not really, she was talking about the steak we were eating, but it happened to coincide with the whole "Mom is really fat conversation."

As annoyed as I was at Josh for telling me I was huge, I can't deny it isn't true. Just for fun tonight I went back and looked at my very first blog post because I was wearing this same dress. I was 35 weeks pregnant with Macy at the time and I think I am almost as big right now at 30 weeks.

I'm not looking forward to the next nine weeks.

HAHA I remember when we helped you move into that small apartment at Ricks and you made us a great dinner after. Josh pulled this out that time also and I remember thinking when did Josh learn to do this? I’m glad he is keeping up with his skills.

Sorry Kory, I had to delete your comment since you mentioned the gender. 30 weeks has gone by pretty fast though.

Hooray for Josh getting away from work long enough to sneak over and see the kids sing, and even long enough to make himself a watermelon basket and a steak. You are not huge. I hated wearing dresses pregnant though because they totally accent the belly. I think it is easier to camoflauge the tummy in jeans.

Thank you Sally for the belly shot. As always you are one of the cutest pregnant women I have ever seen.
