We checked out some of the animals and the kids played a few fun games, but the highlight of the day for this guy was the whisker painting. It's all he could talk about after he saw another kid with bunny whiskers painted on. It was all the way at the other end of the Zoo though, so he had to be very patient as Mom's saunter pace took us a very long time to get there.
They didn't have an Easter egg hunt, but they did have an area set up where the kids could all pick three plastic eggs up off the ground and then turn them in for a prize. Of course they had it set up in the only muddy area of the entire Zoo and of course Macy took a total dive in that mud.
And guess what happens when you spend four hours in the sun after a very long winter? Can you see her whiskers?
Josh and the kids were all pretty red on Sunday, (the SPF in my makeup saved me) but they still looked so cute all dressed up in their special Easter outfits.
I think James was more excited about his vest than the girls were about their dresses. He had this huge grin on his face all day and on the way home from church asked me "Do I look like a Dad?" He even wore the vest to school the next day.

They all look so cute in their Easter outfits. James looks so grown up and handsome.
Are you sure those are your kids?? They look much older and grown-up than I remember. I am really suffering from grandkiditis and it just won't go away.
